Privacy policy
Effective October 27, 2026. Last updated October 27, 2026.
The short version: the photos and videos you watermark are processed in your browser and never uploaded to us. We only keep what an account or a purchase needs, and we don't sell data or show ads.

Your photos, videos and logos
Files you open in the editor are read and watermarked by your browser on your device. They are not sent to our servers or to anyone else, and we never see them, their names or the words of your watermark.
So that a reload, signing in or a trip to the payment page doesn't lose your work, the editor keeps the files you are working on, your design and its logos in your browser's own storage (IndexedDB) on this device. This copy is replaced as you work, removed with “Remove all”, and discarded after three days. Presets you save without an account are kept there too. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of it.
If you save a preset to your account, its settings and the logo images it uses are stored on our servers so you can use them on other devices. Photos and videos are never part of a preset.
Your account
An account is optional. If you create one, we keep:
- your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google;
- sign-in sessions, with the IP address and browser they were created from, to keep your account secure;
- sign-in codes, stored only as a one-way hash and valid for 10 minutes;
- your plan and its status, and the presets you save;
- where your first visit came from (for example a search engine or a campaign link), if you allowed analytics cookies.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card or wallet details and billing address directly; we never see your card number. We receive from Stripe what we need to give you Pro and to keep our accounts: a customer reference, the plan, amounts, currency, payment and subscription status, your email address and country. Stripe's own use of your data is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.
Sign-in emails
Sign-in codes are sent by email through Resend, which acts on our behalf and only receives your email address and the code.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which does not set cookies, to count page views and a few product events, such as an export finishing. These events carry counts and settings only: never file names, images, video frames or anything you type.
If Google Analytics is switched on for the site, it runs only after you accept analytics cookies, and you can change your mind at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. See the cookie policy.
Hosting and logs
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, it records requests (including IP address, browser and the page asked for) to run the service and protect it from abuse; these logs are kept for a short time and are not used to identify you.
Why we use your data (legal bases)
- To provide your account, Pro and saved presets: the contract with you (GDPR article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep accounts secure, prevent fraud and count anonymous usage: our legitimate interests (article 6(1)(f)).
- Google Analytics and first-visit source: your consent (article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Keeping records of payments: our legal obligations under tax and accounting law (article 6(1)(c)).
How long we keep it
- Account data and presets: until you delete your account.
- Sign-in sessions: up to 60 days; sign-in codes: 10 minutes.
- Payment records: as long as Romanian tax and accounting law requires, even after an account is deleted, without the link to the account.
- Server logs: a short time, set by our hosting provider.
Who processes data for us
- Vercel Inc. (hosting, analytics), United States.
- Neon Inc. (database for account data and presets), United States.
- Stripe (payments), Ireland and United States.
- Resend (sign-in emails), United States.
- Google (sign-in with Google if you choose it; Google Analytics if you accept it).
Where data leaves the European Economic Area, it is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and take it elsewhere. You can delete your account yourself from the account page; that also cancels any active subscription. To use any other right, email office@pixelworkssoftware.com. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro) or the authority where you live.
Children
Accounts are for people aged 16 and over. The editor itself collects nothing from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new date. Significant changes will be announced to account holders by email.
